OGV Launches “HOT & FLASH 2026” to Raise Awareness and Support Women Through Menopause

Surrey, BC – January 2026 — Our Global Village (OGV) is proud to announce the launch of HOT & FLASH 2026, a year-long series of community-focused events dedicated to raising awareness about menopause and fostering healing, education, and support for women.

Menopause remains an under-discussed and often misunderstood stage of life, frequently overlooked within both the medical system and broader society. Through HOT & FLASH 2026, OGV aims to address this gap by creating inclusive and supportive spaces where women can share experiences, access information, and build meaningful connections.

The initiative officially began on January 10th, when members of the OGV community gathered for an evening of acceptance, dialogue, and togetherness. The event featured joyful exchanges, compassionate and thoughtful conversations that celebrated women’s resilience and life journeys.

Participants openly shared personal stories reflecting the physical and emotional realities of menopause. The gathering underscored a powerful message: women do not have to navigate this phase of life alone. By encouraging open dialogue, mutual understanding, and collective support, OGV is working to break the long-standing silence surrounding women’s health.

HOT & FLASH 2026 events will take place throughout the year, continuing OGV’s commitment since 2014 to empowering individuals through education, cultural activities, advocacy and inclusive community initiatives.
